Meet Our Team

Debbie Kennedy
Director
Debbie Kennedy is the Director of the Tutterow Dance Academy and the Tutterow “Stars of Tomorrow” performing group. Debbie began her dance training at the age of nine under the direction of Gayle and Phyllis Tutterow and has been a part of the Tutterow dance program for over the past 40+ years. She started assisting in classes in 1977 and has been sharing her love of dance ever since. After graduation, she trained in New York at Steps on Broadway. Debbie, along with her husband Ron of 32 years, started Tutterow Dance Academy in 1998. They have 2 adult daughters; Brittney & Brielle. An exceptional choreographer and instructor, Debbie has led numerous dance routines to First Place, Platinum, and Grand Champion titles. She has also received the honor of winning Outstanding Choreographer Awards & Most Entertaining Awards from multiple competitions. Debbie continues her study of dance by attending conventions and additional teacher training workshops featuring nationally known teachers and talented artists.
Brittney Kennedy
Assistant Director
Brittney is a preschool teacher at Indian Rocks Christian school and was also the dance director for the dance department at Classical Christian School of the Arts. She has been dancing with Tutterow since 1991. Brittney has studied with Joshua Allen, Travis Wall, Ivan Koumaev, Mia Michaels, Hayley Mac, and Jerry Rose, to name a few. While touring with the TDA company in Germany, she participated in a class with a member of the Berlin Ballet, an authentic Bavarian Folk Dance lesson & danced for the Military Troops and families in Stuttgart and Bamberg. She is lead choreographer for Indian Christian Schools’ productions. Some of those are: Annie Jr, Music Man, Beauty & the Beast, Flapper & Sound of Music. Brittney has her CPR, First Aide and Special Needs Certificate. To stay current with choreography, Brittney attends master classes, conventions & teacher training workshops all over the United States. She also has a dance teacher certification backed by the University of Nevada.
Alyssa Breedlove
Alyssa danced with Tutterow for 7 years, where she learned all of her fundamentals. Upon graduation from high school, she went to Tallahassee to attend Florida State University. She studied Ballet, Tap & Contemporary there for 4 years. Alyssa was a member of FSU’s competitive dance team, Dance Force. After her graduation from Florida State, she has continued her love of dance through teaching. She is extremely glad to be back at Tutterow, where her family is.
Chloe Vecchio
Starting at age 2, Chloe trained locally with the Florida Gulf Coast Ballet under the guidance of Daniel Deal. She trained in tap, acro and jazz but quickly found her passion was ballet. Chloe had many leading rolls in the company productions of major ballet works such as Swan Lake, Don Quixote, A Mid Summers Night Dream, Paquita Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker. She was even fortunate to share the stage with Mikhail Baryshnikov when he had a guest appearance for the company’s performance of Les Syphides. Chloe then transferred to Academy of Ballet Arts and was trained by Suzanne Pomerantzeff and Marsha Wilson. There she was able to participate in Youth American Grand Prix which included an ensemble piece that won a spot in the finals in New York City. Chloe was also fortunate enough to be accepted into and to attend multiple summer intensive programs which include Orlando Ballet, American Ballet Theatre and Huston Ballet. Upon graduation from high school, she was invited into several dance programs including Boston Conservatory, USF, FSU and University of Missouri-Kansas City. She chose to attend USFSP and receive a bachelors degree in business management. While in college, Chile began teaching at some local dance studios. She Joined the Tutterow staff in August 2021. She is excited to share her knowledge of dance with our Tutterow students.
Isabelle Vaughn-McGee
Isabelle has danced for 15 years. She has taught Tap, Musical Theater & ballet. Isabelle has had Tap train from such notable dancers such as Anthony Morigerato, Jason Samul Smith, Aaron Tolson, Mike Minery , Aodele Casel & Kelly King. She was a member of Infinity Percussion’s world class visual ensemble after High School graduation and continued in her dance training while there. Isabelle is excited to continue her passion with our incredible young dancers.
Brielle Kennedy
Brielle has been dancing since the age of 2 and on the competition team from the age of 6-17.
She has performed internationally for our troops and families in Germany, on cruise ships and Disney in Orlando, California and France. Brielle loves teaching at the studio. Besides teaching at the studio, she is a licensed cosmetologist and also works applying lash extensions.
Brielle enjoys working with the dancers and sharing her knowledge of dance and seeing a child experience the joy when accomplishing new skills.
Sarah Beth Aleman
Sarah began her training at Tutterow Dance Academy at the age of 3 where she developed a love for tap dance under the instruction of Gayle Tutterow. She went on to study under and train with such tap legends as Anthony Morigerato, Jason Samuels-Smith, and Mike Minery. Sarah Beth is also certified by the Universal Dance Association in Kickline, Novelty, and Musical Theatre technique instruction. She has won numerous awards for her choreography at competitions throughout the United States. Sarah Beth has been an instructor and choreographer for over 25 years and is thrilled to be back home at the Tutterow Dance Academy!
Kiana Stuart
Kiana has been a part of the Tutterow Dance family for over 18 years. She loves sharing her passion and joy for dance with others. Kiana started taking dance lessons with Tutterow at the age of 2 and it has led her to a lifelong love of dance. She is now able to share that with others. Kiana has taught dance at several Tutterow dance camps as well as teach a few classes here at the studio. In addition to teaching dance, she enjoys serving others at Sonny’s bbq as she is studying hospitality. She believes “dancing with the feet is one thing but dancing with the heart is another”. Kiana loves helping others dance with their hearts and she is so blessed to be a part of the TDA family
Katie Davis
Katie has been a part of the Tutterow Family for 35+ years, studying under the direction of Gayle & Phyllis Tutterow for 16 years with opportunities to dance in Russia and Disney World. Katie has performed locally on cruise ships, in variety shows and was a previous talent award winner in a local scholarship pageant. She has taken lessons at Florida State University School of Dance. Katie returned to teaching dance several years ago, first as an assistant and now returning as a part of the faculty. Katie has also taught liturgical dance at her place of worship in the past for four years. Katie also enjoys working with and serving children and their families in her professional & family life and has done so for over 20 years. She understands the roll as a dancer, choreographer, dance teacher, and dance mom. Her 2 daughters have also been a part of TDA for over 16 years and now give back to the world of dance, one as a dance teacher herself and the other a dancer/performer with Disney. Katie loves teaching & being a part of the TDA family, and loves sharing the joy of dance with others! .
Katie Reyes
Katie danced at Tutterow for 16 years and studied many genres including tap, ballet, pointe, lyrical and hip hop. Katie won many top national awards in her 11 years of competing and attended multiple conventions and master classes. She was also on her school’s cheer team. Katie’s other love is photography and owns a very successful photography business. Her knowledge of dance gives her a special edge on capturing the right shot of the dancer in action. We are happy to have Ms Katie on our team and her love of dance is evident in the classroom.
Autumn Stevanus
Autumn was born and raised in Seminole, FL. She was a Tutterow dancer for 14years, taking all genres of dance, including ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, lyrical and hip hop. She competed each year with Tutterow traveling nationally to Orlando, Las Vegas and Los Angeles. After high school, Autumn went on to become a Registered Nurse and soon after an Adult- Geriatric Nurse Practitioner, however, her passion for dance never stopped. She took dance classes throughout college and into her 20’s. She also started the liturgical dance team at her church, which she led for 7 years. Autumn loves being at her home studio to teach and pass along her knowledge and love for dance to her students.
