Performance Company & Competition Teams

The Tutterow Stars of Tomorrow Competition Team originated in 1982 to offer additional performance opportunities for talented young dancers. The team consists of dancers ages 4 – 18. Participation in the company is for the student with the passion, desire, and dedication to excel in the art of dance, who wishes to have more competition and performance opportunities. Good moral character and strong work ethic is expected and required from each company member.

Our teams attend workshops, master classes, and competitions throughout the season. The Stars of Tomorrow have received numerous Gold, Platinum, Diamond and First Place Overall Grand Champion awards from various competitive venues. We are also very proud of our faculty who are consistently receiving best choreography and most entertaining awards at competitions.

Throughout the years, the Stars have had many performances locally, as well as internationally. Highlights have included performances in: Russia, Spain, Germany – for our Troops stationed there, Euro Disney in Paris, Walt Disney World, Disney California Adventure, The Florida State Fair, Busch Gardens of Tampa, Las Vegas, The NBC Today Show in New York, Sea World of Florida, Epcot Center, Royal Caribbeans Navigator of the Seas, Freedom of the Seas & Oasis of the Seas Cruise Ships & danced in the Macys Thanksgiving Day parade in NYC.

Becoming a member of the Tutterow Stars of Tomorrow Performance Company is by audition only. Dancers that show proper attitude, ability, and attendance are invited to audition for possible placement within the company. Additional classes in technique and ballet are required for all company members. Students participate in various workshops, master classes and competitions, which may result in additional costs and travel. Consult the dance faculty for more detail. Parents have fundraising opportunities to help offset some of these fees.

Our company team requirements offer a healthy balance of required dance classes for the dancer and time for school work & friends.
