Being a Tutterow Dancer doesn’t just mean going to a studio and learning dances, its about much more. When entering your class, you are greeted by your best friends who have become your family. Tutterow is a place where everyone, including the teachers are caring and friendly. The teachers strive for you to do better everyday in a positive way. I Love coming to dance class. Welcome to Tutterow Dance Academy
Our Philosophy
Tutterow Dance Academy is committed to providing professionally instructed dance classes to enhance the overall development of the student. We provide a safe environment to encourage our students to explore dance with qualified, nurturing teachers. We believe that dance training encourages young people to develop a positive self–image as they increase awareness of their physical being. Along with improving coordination skills and developing muscular awareness, dance classes give children the freedom to express themselves through movement. The highest educational standards are expected from all Tutterow Dance Academy faculty members. They are lifelong learners who continue to educate themselves through workshops, teacher training schools, conferences and other learning opportunities. For more than 40 years our school has been a leader in dance education. We believe that our success comes as a result of providing solid training and quality service as well as our underlying belief in the strength of our organization.
Tutterow Dance Academy is contracted through the City of Largo Recreation, Parks and Arts Department. With the support of the city, we are able to provide exceptional studio space and convenient payment schedules; as class fees are collected by the city for our program. Tutterow Dance Academy is privately owned and has partnered with the city of Largo since 1976. We have two convenient studio locations in Largo, Florida. We are housed in the beautiful 30,000 sq ft Largo community center in three state of the art dance studios with floating floors, barres & mirrors. A large comfortable waiting area, outside walking trail, game room and fitness center. We also hold classes, in the beautiful Southwest complex in Largo off of Vonn Rd.
